Victim of KCK homicide identified

A woman shot to death Thursday in Kansas City, Kan., was identified Friday as Melinda Bates-Fuller.

Bates-Fuller, 37, was shot inside a residence in the 800 block of North 70th Street, according to Kansas City, Kan., police. A man was critically wounded, police said.

Detectives ask anyone with information about the incident to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
