A Kansas City man pleaded guilty Wednesday to helping burn down a house for insurance money.
Joseph Levi Little, 43, was one of four people prosecuted for participating in the conspiracy to fraudulently collect insurance money.
He pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in Kansas City to conspiracy to commit arson and mail fraud.
Little admitted to helping the other conspirators start a fire in April 2014 that destroyed a house in the 3500 block of Garfield Avenue.

The woman who rented the house had taken out an insurance policy on her belongings before the fire.
All of her property was moved out of the house, and broken and damaged electronic equipment and appliances were moved in before the fire.
The conspirators placed a blanket on top of a space heater and set the blanket on fire.
