Lenexa police release surveillance video of suspect in pickup truck theft

Lenexa police on Monday released surveillance video that they say shows a man suspected in a vehicle theft.

The Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the man, who is believed to have stolen a pickup truck in the 9700 block of Roshill Road.

The truck was parked when someone entered it and drove away at high speed, according to police. Before the theft, the man was seen arriving in a black, mid-1990s Lincoln Continental.

Police described him as a white man, mid-20s with a thin build and short hair.

The stolen vehicle is a purple 1997 Dodge Dakota pickup truck with a Kansas license plate.
