Victim says shooter pulled next to vehicle and shot him while driving on I-470 in KC

Police were investigating a shooting early Sunday where the victim said he was driving on Interstate 470 when he was shot.

Police responded to a hospital about 1:50 a.m. Sunday to investigate a report that a man had arrived with a gunshot wound.

The victim said that he was driving when another vehicle pulled next to him and started firing shots into the passenger side of his vehicle.

The victim was struck one time. His injury was not believed to be life-threatening.

The victim provide little suspect information, police said.
