Judge gives 20-year sentence to PCP distributor
A Kansas City federal judge sentenced a 42-year-old man to 20 years in prison Thursday for leading a PCP distribution conspiracy.
Gerald W. Jones, of Kansas City, pleaded guilty in May to conspiring to distribute more than two pounds of PCP.
Prosecutors said detectives and informants purchased PCP and crack cocaine from Jones more than 20 times. And wiretap evidence showed hundreds of drug-related phone calls between Jones and his associates over a three month period in 2012.
