One person shot in stomach near Prospect, Linwood in Kansas City

Police were investigating after one person was shot outside of a business on Prospect and Linwood in Kansas City.

The shooting was reported about 7 p.m. Thursday. The victim was shot multiple times, including once in the stomach. The injuries were considered life-threatening.

A suspect was last seen running near Linwood and Wabash.
