KC police looking for car in connection with teen’s killing

Kansas City police on Tuesday released a photograph of a car seen near the scene of a Kansas City teenager’s killing.

Asaan Williams, 18, was fatally shot Friday at Seven Oaks Park near 38th Street and Kensington Avenue.

The car, believed to be a 2003 Chevrolet Impala, was seen leaving the area after Williams was shot, police said.

Police said anyone who can help them locate the car or its occupants should call Detective Cristin Stammler in the homicide unit at 816-234-5043 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
