A man robbed the Greater KC Public Safety Credit Union and fled through a shopping center, the FBI said Monday.

The man gave a teller a demand note and left with an undisclosed amount of cash about 2:20 p.m. He did not show a weapon, and no one was injured, authorities said.

The robber is described as a white man, between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-11, and of average build. He is thought to be about 60 years old.
