One person injured in shooting at Days Inn hotel in Kansas City

Police were investigating a shooting Wednesday in Kansas City that injured one person.

The shooting was reported about 8 p.m. at the Days Inn hotel in the 5100 block of East Linwood Boulevard.

The victim was expected to survive, police said.
