KC man gets life for drug trafficking
A Kansas federal judge sentenced a Kansas City man to life in prison Thursday for drug trafficking.
Christopher Craig, 32, had admitted that he was part of a drug ring that operated for six years in Kansas City, Kan., beginning in January 2006.
Prosecutors urged the judge to impose a longer than normal sentence because Craig planned and participated in an attempted robbery in August 2012 that led to the shooting death of one of the robbers.
