Traffic back to normal after suspicious package investigation in midtown KC
Kansas City police said a package that prompted them to block streets in the area of 31st Street and Southwest Trafficway did not contain anything hazardous.
Traffic around the area was diverted for several hours while officers with the police bomb and arson unit investigated.
Police opened streets to traffic about 3:45 p.m. Friday.
