Missing Excelsior Springs child is found with her biological mother in Westport
A missing 3-year-old girl from Excelsior Springs was located safe Wednesday night with her biological mother in Westport, police said.
An Amber Alert had been issued earlier for Ramy Demboski, who was taken earlier in the day from her father’s home, said Excelsior Springs Capt. Clint Reno.
The incident occurred around 4 p.m. Ramy was staying with her biological father. A woman arrived at the home and said she was experiencing vehicle problems. They allowed the woman inside and she used the restroom, was given water and used the phone.
“After she left, they figured out the 3-year-old was missing,” Reno said.
Some of the other children said Ramy was in the car with the stranger.
Ramy’s parents are involved in a custody issue, police said.
