Grandview police investigate shooting at gas station

Grandview police are investigating a shooting that injured a 22-year-old woman early Saturday at a gas station.

Police were summoned about 2 a.m. on the report of shots fired at the Phillips 66 station at 128th Street and the west access road of southbound U.S. 49.

Someone fired the bullet fired inside another vehicle parked at the gas station, the victim told police. The victim, her boyfriend and another person were in their vehicle when the shooting occurred. The woman sustained non life-threatening injuries.

Police did not have a detailed description of the shooter.
