KC man charged with pointing laser at helicopter
Federal grand jurors indicted a Kansas City man Tuesday for directing the beam of a laser pointer at a helicopter last year.
Jordan Clarence Rogers, of Kansas City, allegedly aimed a pointer at a Kansas City police helicopter on Oct. 8.
In June, federal authorities a nationwide crackdown on the practice in June, which can temporarily blind a pilot.
