New York murder fugitive arrested in KCK
An alleged New York gang member wanted for murder was arrested Thursday by U.S. marshals near downtown Kansas City, Kan.
Marshals took 19-year-old Milton Contreras, also known as “Diabolico,” into custody early Thursday morning after marshals spotted him near 12th Street and Minnesota Avenue, officials said.
A federal grand jury in New York indicted him for the Feb. 25 killing of another alleged gang member suspected of cooperating with authorities.
He is charged with conspiracy to commit murder in-aid-of racketeering, murder in-aid-of racketeering, obstruction-of-justice murder, and firearms offenses.
