KC police identify man killed Wednesday

Kansas City police have identified a man fatally shot Wednesday near 68th Terrace and the Paseo as Marc Matherson, 30, of Kansas City.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the shooting, which happened about 11:20 p.m.

Matherson died after being taken to a hospital, police said.
