Two men rob Bank of America branch in Lenexa
Two men robed the Bank of America in the 7700 block of Quivira Road just before 3 p.m. Wednesday.
One robber carried a handgun, authorities said. The other jumped the counter holding a plastic grocery-style bag.
Authorities described both as slender black men, 170 to 175 pounds and about 5-foot-10. The gunman wore black pants, a black jacket and hoodie, black shoes, gloves and a red bandanna pulled over his face. The other wore gray sweatpants, a gray hooded sweatshirt, black shoes, red and black gloves with a KC Chiefs symbol on the gloves, and a black face mask.
They fled north on foot with an undisclosed amount of stolen cash.
