FBI seeks public help identifying serial bank robber
Authorities are offering a reward of up to $3,000 to help identify and convict a serial bank robber, the FBI announced Thursday.
Investigators believe he committed three area robberies this spring: March 19 at the Bank of America at 10100 Missouri 350 in Raytown; April 11 at Citizens Bank and Trust, 4911 North Oak Trafficway in Kansas City, North; and April 17 at Bank of the West, 5245 N.W. 64th St. in Kansas City, North.
All happened between 11 a.m. and noon. The robber produced a demand note, threatened that he had a weapon and fled on foot.
The FBI released surveillance photos and described the robber as black, 25 to 30 years old and about 6-foot or 6-foot-2 with a medium build.
They ask anyone with information to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
