FBI searches in KC for ‘Fat Boy’ Allen in gang-related pot conspiracy

Federal authorities sought help Wednesday tracking down a man with connections to the rap music industry who was indicted earlier this year on charges of peddling more than 1,000 kilograms of marijuana.

Rahmon D. Allen, who the FBI said is also known as “Fat Boy, was indicted in February on drug trafficking charges in U.S. District Court in the Western District of Missouri. The FBI said he worked with members of two street gangs to sell drugs in the Kansas City area.

Allen, 30, is a black man about 6 feet 1 inches tall. He weighs about 300 pounds. He has a tattoo on his right upper arm with the initials “SSP.” The FBI said he has ties to rap music and could be traveling through St. Louis, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Miami or Jacksonville, Fla.

The FBI cautioned people not to confront Allen. Rather, the agency asked for the public to share any information by calling 816-474-TIPS or local law enforcement.
