K-State student reports sexual assault in dorm room

A female student at Kansas State University on Friday reported a sexual assault inside a dormitory room on the Manhattan campus, according to a statement from the university.

The student reported that the assault occurred late at night on Dec. 4, according to the university.

No arrests have been made and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.

University police advised members of the community to “be aware of their surroundings, don’t be left alone, report crimes immediately when they occur and to report any suspicious activity.”
