Charge filed in south Kansas City wreck that killed 72-year-old man
A Kansas City man was charged Thursday with causing a crash that killed a 72-year-old man in August.
Gabriel B. Cornelius, 39, was charged in Jackson County Circuit Court with first-degree involuntary manslaughter in the death of Gary Dramshek.
Prosecutors say Cornelius was speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs when his pickup truck collided with a car driven by Dramshek at 115th Street and Holmes Road.
