Kansas City police identify man killed in Friday vehicular accident

Kansas City police have identified a 41-year-old man killed in a vehicular accident Friday as Stephen H. Mayhew of Kansas City.

The accident occurred in the 4700 block of Ridgeway Avenue. Mayhew was westbound on 47th Street about 2 a.m. when his vehicle ran off the road to the left and struck a concrete culvert.

Mayhew was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
