Gunmen kill one person, injure two in triple shooting in KC’s Crossroads area
Gunmen fired multiple rounds into a car stopped at an intersection in Kansas City’s Crossroads district early Sunday, killing one and injuring two others early Sunday.
The triple shooting occurred about 2:10 a.m. at Broadway and Southwest Boulevard.
The victims were headed north on Broadway and had stopped at Southwest Boulevard. Two vehicles pulled along each side and gunmen inside the vehicles fired multiple rounds into the victims’ vehicle.
Three people were injured in the shooting, and one died during surgery at an area hospital. One victim was in serious condition and the third victim suffered a minor injury.
No suspect information was available.
