Johnson County man guilty of sex assaults on two girls
A Johnson County jury has found a Spring Hill man guilty of sexually assaulting two girls in Roeland Park.
Michael John Tubbs, 44, was found guilty Thursday of two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
After the verdict, a judge revoked Tubbs’ bond and he was taken into custody.
A sentencing date has not been set.
The charges against Tubbs involved two girls who were younger than 14.
One girl was 12 in Aug. 2010 when she was abused. The other girl was assaulted on several occasions between 2007 and 2010.
