Police trying to solve property damage incidents, equipment theft in south Kansas City

Kansas City police seek the public’s help after a series of property damage incidents and the theft of heavy equipment in south Kansas City.

Property belonging to Mega Industries Corp. has been damaged in three separate incidents since August, police said. The incidents have caused more than $16,000 in damage.

Additionally, a September theft of various tools resulted in a loss of more than $13,000.

The location of the theft and property damage is near 77th Street and Paseo Boulevard. The equipment and tools were being used on a road construction project for Kansas City.
