A 34-year-old man who claimed that he would have girls in Kansas City and California “selling their bodies and give him the money” has been charged in Jackson County Circuit Court with rape.

Jason H. Williams of Kansas City is charged with second-degree statutory rape in assaults that allegedly happened between late April and June.

According to court records, during an interview with detectives in July, the young victim said she met Williams after she ran away from home on April 27. She lived with Williams for one month and during that time had sex with him.

The victim said Williams took nude photos of her that he uploaded in an effort to make money.

On Wednesday, while being questioned by investigators at the Jackson County Detention Center, Williams allegedly said he met the victim while she was standing the rain. Williams said he asked the girl if she needed help and asked if she wanted to come back to his house. Williams said the victim lived with him for about a month, according to court records.

Williams allegedly said he had sex with the girl once or twice while she lived with him. During that time, Williams said he used a cellphone to make videos and take photos of them having sex, court records stated.

Prosecutors also charged Williams with drug possession and unlawful use of a weapon.
