Police in Raytown said a man was forced into a car at knife-point by an acquaintance about 7: 30 a.m. Thursday at a residence in the 8900 block of Gregory Boulevard.

Police in Raytown said a man was forced into a car at knife-point by an acquaintance about 7: 30 a.m. Thursday at a residence in the 8900 block of Gregory Boulevard.

Raytown police said they learned about 1:40 p.m. Thursday that the 67-year-old man and an acquaintance drove around the Kansas City metro area for hours before the man was released from the car unharmed.

A small amount of property was taken from the man by the acquaintance, police said.

Police continue to investigate the incident.
