Pedestrian injured in hit-and-run near 30th and Benton in Kansas City
A pedestrian was left with life-threatening injuries Monday night after being hit by a car that fled the scene, according to police.
The pedestrian was struck near E. 30th Street and Benton Boulevard shortly before 8 p.m. Police did not immediately provide details about the injured person.
The car, which reportedly drove away after striking the pedestrian, was described as a dark-colored Jaguar.
