A Missouri Highway Patrol trooper discovered 400 pounds of edible marijuana chocolate bars in a vehicle being driven Tuesday on Interstate 70 by a California man.
The trooper pulled over Jeffrey J. Woo, 42, for a traffic violation as he drove east in a 2015 Infiniti QX60 near the 40-mile marker in Lafayette County. After noticing inconsistencies and deceptive behavior, the trooper obtained permission from Woo to search the vehicle, the Highway Patrol said. The trooper found the chocolate bars in boxes in the vehicle’s cargo area.
The patrol made the chocolate bars available for media photos on Thursday.
