Woman killed in northeast KC single-pickup truck accident is identified
A woman was killed when the Ford F-150 she was driving crashed early Friday.
The woman has been identified as Arnica S. Combes, a 34-year-old Kansas City resident.
A Kansas City police news release said pickup truck had been driving north about 12:15 a.m. Friday when the driver apparently lost control. The truck hopped the west curb, struck a utility pole, a parked car and a tree before catching fire. Combes died at the scene. A passenger in the truck was hospitalized and listed in serious condition on Saturday.
