Man dies from injuries after being shot on KC’s East Side

Officers found a man in his mid-30s outside in the 3700 block of Fremont Street about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday with no signs of life. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

A shooting Tuesday on Kansas City’s East Side left one man dead.

Officers found a man in his mid-30s outside in the 3700 block of Fremont Street about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday with no signs of life. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

Witnesses told police that they saw a dark-colored compact car speed away from the scene after the sound of gunshots.
