Charges filed in Overland Park man’s drug overdose death
A 24-year-old man has been charged in connection with the drug overdose death of an Overland Park man earlier this year.
Michael Christopher Bickley of Kansas City, Kan., made his first court appearance Monday in Johnson County District Court where he is charged with the distribution of drugs resulting in death.
Bickley is also charged with possession of heroin, possession of oxycodone and possession of Xanax.
His bond is set at $250,000 and Bickley is being held in the Johnson County Jail.
The Overland Park man was 27 and died on Feb. 1, according to court documents.
Bickley’s next court appearance is scheduled for Oct. 27.
