Lee’s Summit police searching for SUV involved in shooting incident
Lee’s Summit police are investigating a shooting Thursday evening near Northeast Douglas Street and Northeast Victoria Drive.
Police said officers were called to the area about 7:30 p.m. Thursday. A person told police that the driver of an SUV followed their vehicle from a nearby business parking lot, fired two shots into the car and sped off.
No one was hurt.
Police are looking for a newer model four-door Chevrolet Tahoe with rear end and rear bumper damage.
