Two are arrested after teen is injured in Raytown shooting

Two teens were arrested after another teen was injured in a shooting in Raytown late Thursday.

Raytown police were called to a home in the 9700 block of 65th Terrace about 10:30 p.m. Thursday on a report of a shooting. By the time they arrived, the shooting victim had been taken to the hospital, where he was in stable condition early this morning.

Police say they located a suspect vehicle and a chase ensued. The vehicle chase ended near U.S. 71 and Emanuel Cleaver II Boulevard, where two people left the vehicle and ran.

Police used a helicopter unit and police K-9s to search for them and later took two teens into custody.
