Investigators ask public to check trail cameras in case of missing Raymore woman
Investigators are asking people to assist them as they continue to look for a Raymore woman missing since Sept. 8.
Detectives investigating the disappearance of Jessica Runions want anyone in the metro area with trail cameras to review their video from Sept. 8 and 9 to see whether they have footage of a dark-colored SUV or anything out of the ordinary.
A trail camera is used to observe wildlife or trespassers. They are usually motion activated.
Runions, 21, disappeared after leaving a gathering Sept. 8 in south Kansas City with Kylr Yust.
Three days after Runions disappeared, Yust, 28, was arrested and charged with burning her 2012 black Chevrolet Equinox, which authorities found in the early morning hours of Sept. 10.
He is not charged in the disappearance of Runions.
Yust’s court record has been sealed, and authorities have released few details.
Anyone with information should call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
