Raytown man gets 15 years in prison for child porn
A Raytown man was sentenced Wednesday to 15 years in prison for receiving and distributing child pornography over the internet.
Federal prosecutors in Kansas City said Jered Scott Faulkner, 37, possessed more than 2,500 still images and 300 videos containing child pornography.
He pleaded guilty in May in U.S. District Court in Kansas City to charges of receiving and distributing child pornography over the internet.
Among the images found on his computer were pictures of a girl who was about 7 years old who had been a student at a Lee’s Summit martial arts studio where Faulkner worked, prosecutors said.
Investigators determined that those photos were taken be a cellphone in July 2014.
