The body of a man was found about 8 p.m. Tuesday after officers responded to an ambulance call in the 2500 block of Poplar Avenue. The victim was found dead inside a residence, Kansas City’s 88th homicide this year.

Kansas City police are investigating the city’s latest homicide.

The body of a man was found about 8 p.m. Tuesday after officers responded to the 2500 block of Poplar Avenue on an ambulance call. The victim was found dead inside a residence.

Police did not say how the man died nor did they release information on a suspect.

The man’s death was the 88th homicide in Kansas City this year.
