Metro Squad investigating North Kansas City fatal shooting disbands
The metro squad investigating the Sunday shooting death of a 22-year-old man found in North Kansas City has disbanded.
Logan C. Minton of Riverside was found slain near Armour Road and Knox Street in North Kansas City. Investigators said they think that Minton was abducted in Kansas City before the shooting.
No other details were released.
On Thursday, investigators released a photograph of a maroon 2005 Buick LeSabre, like the one that belonged to Minton. Minton’s car has a Missouri license plate DN9M0G and has a Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats decal in the rear window.
The car was taken in conjunction with the homicide. The car was last seen early Sunday in the area of Armour Road and Interstate 35.
North Kansas City police will take over the investigation.
