Two arrested in Lawrence, accused of armed robbery
A 21 year-old man and a juvenile female are in police custody in connection with an armed robbery in Lawrence.
Police arrested Quentin Hill and a juvenile female companion after the pair allegedly robbed a man trying to purchase shoes online.
The alleged robbery occurred about 3:20 p.m. Saturday in the 1300 block of West 6th Street.
Police said a man reported he agreed to meet a woman he met online to purchase shoes. The victim picked up the woman and a man with the woman at a residence in northern Lawrence.
The group, police said, drove to the parking lot of a nearby restaurant, where the victim was allegedly robbed at gunpoint.
Officers located Hill and the juvenile female at the residence where the victim originally picked them up.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
