Jackson County sheriff’s deputies investigate reports of shooting in Independence

Jackson County sheriff’s deputies are investigating reports of a shooting near 18th Street and North Arapaho Court in Independence.

Reports of shots fired came into police dispatch about 9 p.m.

Police are on the lookout for a black Monte Carlo or Camaro.
