The reward for information leading to an arrest in the February 2010 fatal shooting of John Valdivia has increased to $16,000.

Valdivia died following the shooting in the 1700 block of Richmond Avenue in Kansas City, Kan. The victim’s mother, Lupe Rennau, added $1,000 to the existing fund, officials announced Friday.
