Shots fired at man during Kansas City carjacking Tuesday
Shots were fired at a Kansas City man Tuesday when he tried to stop someone from stealing his neighbor’s motorcycle.
The man was not injured, but the robbers got away with his pickup truck and the neighbor’s motorcycle.
The incident occurred Tuesday morning in the 1600 block of Corrington Avenue.
The victim told Kansas City police that he confronted two men he saw trying to steal the motorcycle. One of the robbers fired shots at him and he ducked behind a house.
The robbers were last seen heading east on Truman Road.
