Eastbound lanes of N.W. Chipman Road bridge will close
The city of Lee’s Summit announced this week that the eastbound lanes of the Northwest Chipman Road bridge between Northwest Commerce Drive and Northwest Donovan Road are set to close at 10 p.m. Friday and will remain closed until 5 a.m. Monday, weather permitting.
The city said the closure is necessary to complete an epoxy overlay to seal the bridge deck.
The work will complete repairs to the Northwest Chipman Road bridge, which started earlier this summer. The planned detour for the closure is Northwest Ward Road to Northwest Innovation Parkway to Northeast Tudor Road and then to Northeast Douglas Street.
