Finley Engineering opens Overland Park office

Finley Engineering, based in Lamar, Mo., has opened an office in Overland Park at 9120 W. 135th St. The company, which was founded more than 60 years ago, specializes in the design, engineering and construction of electrical power systems. Finley has more than 300 employees in 10 offices nationwide.

The University of Kansas Hospital has been named one of America’s 100 best hospitals as measured by Healthgrades. The organization rates hospitals for clinical excellence in about 30 procedures and conditions based on Medicare patient data. The hospital said it is the only one in the Kansas City area to receive the designation.

The National Agri-Marketing Association, based in Overland Park, has named Jeff Hartz as its 2014 marketer of the year. He is director of marketing for Wyffels Hybrids in Geneseo, Ill. The association has more than 3,500 professional and student members in the food and fiber industry.
