Villa Milano development opens this summer in Leawood

Villa Milano, a $45 million development of luxury apartment homes and villas in Leawood, is expected to begin leasing units this summer.

Rick Oddo, president of the firm, said the 290-unit development at 137th Street and Mission Road is being designed to include ample landscaping and a walkable environment for residents.

“We will be offering a luxury lifestyle community for individuals looking for quality living in a neighborhood setting with the convenience of no maintenance,” Oddo said.

Monthly rents for a one-bedroom residence start at $1,100 and range up to $2,800 for a three-bedroom townhouse. There will be 20 three-bedroom residences, and the remaining apartments will be split evenly between one- and two-bedroom units.

Construction began last summer and occupancy is expected to begin this July with the project fully completed a year from now. The villas will included attached garages. The community also will be gated and fenced and include concierge services.
