Business briefs: Intouch Solutions wins national marketing awards
Ad agency award
Intouch Solutions, an Overland Park-based marketing agency that focuses on the pharmaceutical business, won top honors at a recent trade industry event in New York. PM360, a trade publication, named Intouch “Best Advertising Agency” for its “growth and leaderhip in pharmaceutical marketing, impressive talent development and commitment to social responsibility.”
The company was also honored in several categories for its client work.
The PM360 awards, now in their sixth year, recognize and honor the pharmaceutical industry’s most influential innovators and leaders.
Intouch, founded in 1999, has more than 500 employees. In addition to its Corporate Woods headquarters, the privately held marketing agency has offices in Chicago and New York.
Public works accreditation
The city of Overland Park’s Public Works Department has received a reaccreditation designation from the American Public
Works Association. The city received its original accreditation in 2006, and received its first reaccreditation in 2010. The Overland Park department is among 36 in North America to receive accreditation, including agencies in Lenexa, Olathe, and Topeka.
Spotlighting breast cancer awareness
O’Neill Honda in Overland Park is supporting breast cancer awareness month in October with a “Pink Campaign.” The dealership, at 7979 Metcalf Ave., is decorated with a 20-foot pink ribbon and the showroom is filled with pink balloons and banners.
The dealership hopes to raise $10,000 this month for the Komen Foundation.
O’Neill will contribute $100 for each new and certified pre-owned Honda Civic sold this month. It will also donate $1 for every retail oil change in October. On Oct. 29, O’Neill will host the annual Komen’s Volunteer Appreciation event.
This is the company’s second year supporting the charitable organization.
