Business briefs: St. Luke’s expands services in Overland Park
St. Luke’s South addition
The St. Luke’s Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute has opened a neurosurgery clinic on the campus of St. Luke’s South Hospital in Overland Park. The office will be led by Michael Rhee, a neurosurgeon who can consult with patients on issues related to tumors, back pain, spine and other issues. Patients can receive some treatments and most diagnostic testing at the hospital.
The clinic is located at 12330 Metcalf Ave., in the St. Luke’s South Medical Office Building.
Leawood chamber
Leonard Corsi has been named the 2015 chairman of the Leawood Chamber of Commerce. Corsi is general manager of Town Center Plaza and the Town Center Crossing shopping centers. Other officers: Chair-elect, Ben Biller of Burns & McDonnell; Vice-chair, Caryn Clements of CrossFirst Bank; Treasurer, Monty Spradling of UMB Bank; Secretary, Doug Spear of Shawnee Mission Health; and Past-chair, Nancy McAuley of McAuley & Crandall.
Librarian recognized
Mirah Dow, professor in the School of Library and Information Management at Emporia State University, has received the Vision Award from the Kansas Association of School Librarians. The award recognizes individuals either in or out of the profession who have contributed to the vision of Kansas school libary media centers.
