Business briefs: Pinnacle building completed; college, career fair

Office construction completed

Block Real Estate Services LLC said construction has been completed on the Pinnacle Corporate Centre V building in Leawood.

The three-story office building, at the intersection of Tomahawk Creek Parkway and 114th Street, has 67,924-square-feet of rentable space. It is 70 percent pre-leased.

Block, the Kansas City-based full-service commercial real estate firm, said 22,684 square-feet of office space is still available.

Construction on the building began last fall.

College, career fair

A daylong college and career fair for students throughout the Kansas City area will be held Sept. 26 at the National Airline History Museum at the Wheeler downtown Kansas City airport. The event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., is geared to students ages 13 to 18.

The “Soaring with Eagles” event — at 201 Lou Holland Drive — is sponsored by the Kansas City Chapter of the U.S. Air Force Academy Association of Graduates.

Representatives from about 40 Midwest colleges and more than 100 companies, government and military organizations will be available at the event.
