Augustine at Wayside Waifs

Mixed breed, 6 years old

Meet Augustine: He is a 6-year-old mixed breed with a big heart, a love for life’s simple pleasures and a real talent for making people smile.

Whether he’s tossing a toy around for himself or curling up beside you for a cozy nap, he’s the kind of dog who’s happy just being part of your day. He’s an excellent couch potato companion, whether for movie night, afternoon nap or quiet reading time.

But Augustine is no slouch either. He enjoys exercise, playtime and getting out for walks — especially the leisurely kind where there’s time to enjoy the world around him. One of his absolute favorite things is being outside and finding a soft, sunny patch of grass where he can roll around like a happy pup. It’s the little things that bring him joy.

Come meet Augustine — he would love to show you just how special a loaf of love he can be.

Clove at Melissa’s Second Chances

Calico, 3 years old

Clove is a gorgeous calico girl with a striking mix of brown, black, cream and gold fur — and eyes so green and expressive, they’ll stop you in your tracks. This affectionate beauty has known love before and is ready to find it again after the death of her former owner.

Clove thrives as the center of attention and would do best as your one and only pet. She bonds deeply with her people and quickly becomes a loyal lap cat who adores snuggling up for movie nights or curling beside you at bedtime. Her playful streak shines through with toys and silly antics that will keep you smiling. Once she’s comfortable, she’s not shy about flopping over for belly rubs and soaking up all the affection you’re willing to give.

With her nurturing spirit — likely a reflection of her days as a mama — Clove once welcomed a bottle baby kitten into her home and immediately took on the role of gentle caregiver.

She’d do wonderfully in a home with cat-savvy kids or anyone looking for a loving, people-focused companion.

Clove is more than just a pretty face — she’s a soulful, cuddly, one-of-a-kind cat ready to bring warmth, laughter and loyalty to her forever home.
