Mala

Looking for a happy-go-lucky, playful pup with a heart of gold? Meet Mala, a spirited dog who lives life to the fullest and loves hard. Whether she’s zooming around the yard with her best friend, Bob, or curled up for a cozy nap, Mala brings joy and energy to every moment.

She adores people and greets everyone with full-body tail wags and enthusiastic affection — sometimes a bit too enthusiastically, but she just wants you to know how much she loves you. With a little continued training, she’ll be a perfect mix of manners and exuberance.

Mala coexists with the cats in her foster home, though she prefers when they give her space and don’t run, because who can resist a good chase? She has a dominant personality with other dogs, so she’d likely do best as an only dog or with a calm, submissive canine companion who enjoys active play.

She’s the perfect mix of adventure and chill: Mala loves car rides, walks and even runs if that’s your thing. But after the fun? She’s all about snuggles on the couch and a good nap. Play hard, relax often is her motto.

Mala is eligible for Melissa’s Second Chance’s Foster-to-Adopt program, which means you can take some time to get to know her in your home before finalizing the adoption.

Meet a young kitty with soft stripes, a quiet spirit and a growing curiosity about the world around him. He came from a hoarding situation where life was crowded and overwhelming, and he didn’t get much attention or love from humans. Because of that, he is still learning how to trust, and is looking for someone who understands that love and confidence take time to grow. This handsome boy is ready for a fresh start on life.

Jaxx

Breed: Australian cattle dog

Age: 8 months

Jaxx is a gentle boy with soulful brown eyes, beautiful fur and a silly personality. He is already housebroken and has good experience with crate training. He is super smart and in a training program at Wayside learning his manners. He loves walks and is learning to acclimate to the world around him and learning to be more confident. You can meet Jaxx at Wayside Waifs.
